How You Can Get Involved

  • The Mental Health Committee Mission Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation - A group of people who meet every 6 weeks or so to look at what is being done in the congregation and the outer community for the interests of people with mental health problems and their families.

Contact the Rev. Barbara Meyers at (510) 796-5722 or com_minister at mpuuc.org if you are interested in this group.

  • National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) - The premier mental health advocacy group in the United States. One of the things they have are training programs for families and consumers. NAMI has a national organization and local chapters. The website of the national organization, along with the ability to search for local chapters can be found at www.nami.org.
