August 1 – On Our Own: The Mental Health Consumer Movement

People in the mental health consumer movement raise consciousness and reveal powerful stories. They advocate the elimination of stigma from our societies, communities, mental health systems, families and, most of all, hearts. We as Unitarian Universalists have strongly supported this cause. Yet, we need to do more.
